- Mini Dramas-In TV this kind of commercial is a full range 30-60 second drama that presents characters and conflicts. For example the advert "the ring around the collar" is a good example of all of the elements of drama in a short space of time.
- Spokesperson Presentation: This type usually involves a celebrity who is usually promoting or selling a product. The spokesperson would need to be honest and have a convincing delivery to make the audience believe them.
- Pitch Person: This resembles the old days of television when the "pitchman" would deliver a message about a product. There is a difference between the pitchman and a spokesperson which is that the person speaking is neither a celebrity or a well known character. These types of adverts are soley relying on the product or service itself.
- Voice-Over: A performers voice is used as a major component of the sound track. Within the clip they cannot be seen which makes it even more effective as the viewers can hear and see the visuals at the same time.
