Below is my analysis of the Radox advert.
This advert is very different compared to the others I have looked at. The producers of this have taken a different approach as to how they want to advertise their product. For example most companies use celebrities such as L'Oreal to advertise their shampoo but here Radox have used animation. By using animation, I believe it has made the product stand out. Animation also is more effective in this case as when using celebrities to advertise a product it could have a negative effect on the company. Additionally the music used a happy and summery vibe to it. The music used is actually called 'Dancing Song'. This relates back to the advert as the music starts to come in when the women figure starts dancing. The use of animation along with sound and music has been used extremely well. The summery vibe from the opening shot of the advert to the music adds to the colours they have used where they have used bright colours to add to the summery atmosphere. Through animation this advert takes you on a journey of someone getting themselves ready in the morning. The several shots of the sun rising also adds to the summery vibe.
Within the image above, Radox have cleverly used there product in terms of being able to wake you up and get ready for the day ahead of you. The colour of red, stand out as it is bright and bold. Furthermore, they have also added their logo on the bottle to make it obvious to the viewers which brand it is.
We then see the women figure, coming to live and dancing around. This represent here being ready to start the morning. This also portrays her as being happy and full of energy. The use of the bright colour such as blue, yellow, green and orange really help to make this advert stand out.
The viewers then see animated fireworks which turn into flowers to represent to women feeling happy and free which is all linked into the purpose of this advert about their products using natural ingredients. This advert is trying to advertise all of there products by using bright colours and flowers to represent the use of using natural ingredients. Below is the image of the flowers which are created through the fireworks which is further representing the natural theme.
The flowers then all move around the space in a circular motion and all combine together to product the final image shown below. By all of the flowers combing together it symbolises the use of their natural ingredients and that they combine all of their ingredients to make their products as natural as possible.
When the final piece of animation is shown, the viewers then hear a voice over saying "come to life with the natural ingredients in Radox." By using a famous a well known voice of Dermot O'Leary it adds to the advert. Furthermore it also follows a convention of any adverts where they use famous figures throughout. I believe that by only using the voice of someone famous it doesn't take away the main purpose of the advert. Furthermore, I believe that this advert advertises ts product much more effectively.
Overall, from watching this advert I am now thinking about using animation within the advert I produce. This is something that I will take into consideration when deciding on my advert.
