Brief description of the advert:
Within this advert they have incorporated a feel good factor which is related to the season of Christmas. Within this advert we see 'Father Christmas' drinking coca cola. We then see a close up of his face when it lights up. By his face lighting up it portrays that the drink of coca cola as been his Christmas and this is the drink to have at Christmas time. The audience then see a birds eye view shot of four lorries delivering the drinks around the different places. The second to last ending shot shows all of the family round the table together having their Christmas dinner with this drink.
Below is a further break down of the advert:

This is the beginning shot in which the audience see. Here the audience see a long shot of the outside of a supermarket. When this opening shot is shown, the music gradually starts to come in. The music is like a little a little bell being tapped once in a while and this is continuous. Throughout this opening sequence the audience are taken through the journey of two mens lifes as they work at the shop.
The audience then see a mid shot of the drink coca cola and a snow globe. When this appears the music stats playing and the music is much more upbeat. This sets the atmosphere for the rest of the advert as it is clear to the audience that this advert is going to be a feel good advert.
A bird eye view shot is then shown of four lorries. These lorries are covered with the design of the coca cola logo which is again promoting and reinforcing the purpose of this advert. The colours of red and white which have been used within this section of the advert help to exaggerate the Christmas theme of the snow following from the sky and companies making deliveries to make Christmas special, in this case it is coca cola.
This next shot shot is a mid shot which shows the shop worker being driven round the place where he lives in a supermarket trolley and have gifts with him. This part of the advert is extremely clever as the use of graphics and also animation have made this advert work. When 'Father Christmas' turns the snow globe the audience then see the supermarket man turning in the same direction. Within this advert four basic colours have been used as the main colours with a neutral background. These colours are white, red, black and blue. This has helped to keep the advert realistic as the colours do not clash with each other.

The audience then see a long shot, which is the closing shot of the advert where the man has been taken from his supermarket to his family to celebrate Christmas with them. Within the setting the audience can also see that they have used the coca cola bottle one the table to act as their drink with their Christmas dinner. Throughout this advert, it is trying to promote that coca cola is a drink which should be have when coming together with your family and friends on special occasions to celebrate something. I like this advert as it has a good narrative to it. I also believe that the music really did help to set the pace and also the tone of the advert.
Again like all other adverts, they all finish with their brand logo and also their slogan. One reason why I believe companies do this is so that the viewers can see one last time what company this is making sure that they remember the advert. As the colours of their logo are red and white it instantly stands out and end their advert effectively. Overall I believe that this advert is good for its purpose and also advertises the product well. However for me, I wont be creating an advert like this. Although from watching and analysing this advert it has helped me in terms of music choices and also the way that certain colours have been selected to be used.
